Available in version 7.18 and Cloud.  Versions 7.16 and lower still use the Access database connected using ODBC.

This is very simple to generate.

  • Open General Ledger > Utilities > Audit Data Export
  • Change the Fiscal Year to the year you are reporting.
  • Click the confirm icon (green check) to generate the data.
  • This export takes a long time to generate.
    • The job will show in the Job Viewer.
    • This can take 30 minutes or longer to complete.
    • We are exporting pipe delimited table data for 18 tables at the auditor’s request.
  • When completed, save the files to a new folder.
    • Double click on the completed job.
    • The Export window will open.
    • Click in the space below Full Path.
  • Click on the three dots icon at the right.  That will open a Windows search to navigate to the location you want to save the files.
    • If you have already created a folder skip the next 3 steps.  Simply click on the folder and save.
    • You can create a new folder if you have not already created a folder for the files.
    • To create a new folder, click the Make New Folder button.
    • Name the folder and click on it to select it.
  • With the folder selected, click Save to export.
  • You have the option to click ‘Open’ to open the folder when saved.
  • If you need/want to export additional year(s) create separate folders for them.  Simply run the export again for the desired year.
  • These files can be uploaded to the secure audit folder that has been provided to you per SAO instructions.
