PR EEOC Type Maintenance

Summary

The EEOC Type Maintenance window is used to create and maintain EEOC job and race type codes. These codes are used to report on workforce job and race data to federal, state and local government entities.

Step by Step

 

1     View the existing EEOC Types.

  • Open the EEOC Type Maintenance window (PR> Maintenance> EEOC Types).
  • Highlight an EEOC type code in the left section of the window and the Maintenance section will populate with the information associated with the selected type code.
  • Highlight an EEOC type code and press DELETE or click the Delete icon   to delete the selected EEOC type code.
  • Press INSERT or click the Create icon to create a new EEOC type code. This will create a new line item in the left section of the window.

 

2     Create an EEOC type code.

  • Specify a Revision for the new EEOC type code.
  • Specify a Fiscal Begin date for the EEOC type code.
    • This will the be the date that the revision takes effect on the employee record.
  • Select either Job or Race in the EEOC Type drop-down menu.
  • Enter an EEOC Code to associate with the new type code.
    • The EEOC Code value must be either EEO-1 or EEO-4, depending on the EEOC report the type code will be included in.
  • Enter an EEOC Value for the new type code.
    • EEOC values are set by the EEOC. Please refer to EEOC documentation regarding valid job categories and racial/ethnic identification designations.
  • Enter an optional Description for the EEOC type code.
  • Press ENTER or click the Save icon when complete to save the EEOC Type Code.
