BP Activity Statement Report

Updated on

Summary

The Activity Statement report will display permit activity over a specified transaction range.

Step by Step

1     Open the Activity Statement report (BP> Reports> Activity Statement).

2     Configure the report.

  • Specify a transaction date range in the Tran From and Tran To Date fields. This will limit the permits included in the report to those that have transactions that fall within the date range.
  • Select a Statement Date from the drop-down menu.
    • This field will default to the current date.
  • Select a Report Type from the drop-down menu.
    • The Summary report will display the Permit Number, Application Number, Date, Statement Period, Reference Number, Date of transaction, Transaction Type (Invoice, Payment, Adjustment, etc.), Receipt Number, Description, Amount, and Balance Forward if toggled. The report will also provide Unapplied Credits and Balance Forward totals.
    • The Detail report will display everything included in the Summary report as well as the Fee Code and Fee Description for each line item.
  • Check the Statements for accounts with no activity toggle to print statements for accounts that have a balance but have had no activity during the date range selected above.
  • Check in the Statements for zero balance accounts toggle to print statements for accounts that currently owe nothing but had activity during the selected date range.
  • Check the Print Balance Forward Column toggle to print an extra column on the report that shows the balance on the account after each transaction.
  • Check the Show Deposits and Show Unapplied Credits Total toggles to include those values in the report.
  • Check the Hide credit use/application lines toggle to exclude these lines from the report.
  • Check the Hide $0 Transactions toggle to hide all zero dollar transactions on the report. Zero dollar transactions are generally transactions created internally for accounting purposes.
  • Check the Print Logo toggle to include your organization logo on the report.
  • Click the Create icon to include specific permits in the report.
    • This will override the transaction date filters and only those permits added will be included in the report. You can add as many permits as desired.

3     Print the report.

  • Click the Print icon to process the report immediately or enter a date and time in the field next to the Print icon to schedule the report to generate at a later time. You can view the progress of the report on the Job Viewer window (SS> Utilities> Show Scheduled Jobs).
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Print Preview to preview the report before printing.
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Excel to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet as unformatted data.
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Excel (Formatted) to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet that includes much of the Springbrook formatting found on the printed version of the report.
    • Once the report is generated, you can also display the report using the View Reports window (SS> Utilities> View Report).
